Re: '67 F100 stepside - full resto project storyboard
Yeah - I wanted people to notice the 'blood, sweat and tears' I spent repairing the rust down there
P.S. - at last my truck casts a shadow !

Re: '67 F100 stepside - full resto update 7/31/11- photos
not that anyone seems to read this
- but for my own diary ....
Got it back down on some old wheels - sure feels good to get this far. the rear end spins so smoothly now since i rebuilt it and it's nice to have new bearings on the front spindles (both were shot when i bought it)
what to do next ??????????

Re: '67 F100 stepside - full resto project storyboard
Congrats on the milestone, Stephen!!
I remember that feeling, it was temporary because the next one (engine on chassis) soon set in, and seemed so far away!
After I was Weight-On-Wheels, my next step was running new brake lines, fuel line, and wire harness.
Dude, that's some crazy paint.. , love it!

Re: '67 F100 stepside - full resto project storyboard
So - I get to do my project in fits and starts as I restore the interior of My Diesel RV - that takes my free time and $$$$
But another milestone hit - got the engine started - repainted and more importantly got all the headers off without stripping any threads !
here's the before

Yep, baby steps... I've resolved that this summer I will keep plugging away at the truck vs. switch to my SeaDoo powered bass boat build since I can fish out of the boat as is.

Re: '67 F100 stepside - full resto project storyboard
Glad to see you back on it. Looking good! Btw, I went up to Southern Polyurethanes a couple of months ago. Great bunch of guys. Dropped your name and they remembered you and appreciated the recommendation. Keep it going!
