69' Camper Special Budget Build

Post by sirlucious »

hey guys i saw this truck for sale the other day thought it was a good deal and picked it up for 500 trans wasnt shifting and motor ran rough but i knew what was wrong. 10 mins after i got her home and a few fixed vacume lines later engine runs smooth as silk and trans shifts perfect. its got power brakes but manual steering but that doesnt bothetr me. everything on the truck works, at least after i put in a new 20 dollar speedo cable. the bigest problem right now is the brake rotor/hubs are toast still work but the rotors are very thin. also the front suspension feels like it shimmy's around a bit not like king pins or steering though. i can feel it though the steering collum pretty well but not through the floor if that helps. also my front passenger suspension is low im guessing its the coilspring. how do i know if i have fixed or variable rate springs? here is some pics exterior looks like crap due to some idiot and spraypaint but interior is pretty awesome. truck specs: 360/390, c6, 3.73 dana 60 6800 gross weight. the green truck ive had for awhile 76' F-150 explorer 360/t-18/205/dana 33, 9 inch thought you guys would get a kick out of the original paint! if someone has a set of used workable rotors/hubs plus a used coilspring that would be awesome. i live in Ak but flat rate boxes are for all 50 states!
