Averagef250 I agree. I built this truck in '83, it's a '72 F100 short bed.it has a skyjacker 5 1/2" lift with new coil springs and blocks that go on top of the factory blocks. I lowered the coil spring pockets 2" and put 3/4 ton leaves out back for a 7 1/2' lift. I used degreed poly C bushings and control arm drop brackets for correct caster.I put in power steering and a modified and heavily braced drag link. I run 40" ground hawgs.Other than a couple of broken spindles it has performed with no issues

.I drove it to the 4 wheeler jamboree in illinois and the car craft street machine nats in indy. I have wheeled with it,ran mud bogs, jumped it,towed with it, hauled way more than I should have;and used it as a daily driver til '96 when I blew the motor. Life got in the way so it sat and the body rusted off of the frame. Now I am starting to redo it, I have the rolling chassis sand blasted painted and put back together as it was. I just built motor mounts and trans mount for a 460 C6 combo. I don't have a problem running it the way it is I just thought maybe the shackle flip would be more politically correct

I read where someone used a chevy mount for the front one because it is longer and then flipped the rear one, but I think it was on a '78 and their springs are wider than ours correct? Just trying to get ideas....... Thanks Dave
