hey, i'm currently restoring a '69 f100. one of the things that i am trying to do in the near future is get a/c in there. anybody know what all i'd need for that?

Sure, real easy actually.
Get the truck up to speed. 70 MPH should do just fine. Now on each wing window you'll find a shiny lock mechanism, turn those to allow the window to swing open. Swing both wing windows open. Roll down your other 2 windows. If you need even more air conditioning feel free to open up the kick panel vents.
Enjoy 4-70 air conditioning.

OR,
You'll need to find an a/c compressor that still works good, the bracket(s) to mount it to your engine, a belt to run it, the A/C lines (might want to have new ones made), the condenser, the dryer, and of course the underdash a/c unit (there are several styles, mostly dealer-add-on).

Very unlikely you're ever gonna find one of our York compressors in running, (not leaking refrigerant around the shaft seal-or valves shot) compressor. With that said here's a few aftermarket vendors which is so...much easier than trying to find 40+ year old parts for A/C. :2cents:
