dropped the 390 block off at the machine shop to be cleaned and new cam bearings installed. my painless wiring harness came in today and picked up a new sand blaster since my other one bit the dust

so its been a while since i updated got the block back from the maching shop it had to go 30 over due to some scaring on 3 cylinder walls. repainted the block and installed the camshaft, crank, pistons and the arp head studs

well its sad that is has been 9 months since i have updated this thread. since the last update the frame has been moved outside and i have been working on the body work on the cab. still working to get the undercoating off of it almost finished then i really start working stripping the paint off

was finally able to do some work on the cab and got the top of the cab and the cowl sander down to bare medal. down side is that i found rust right above the drain rails above the doors not happy about that. any one got any ideas on what i should do to fill the holes. should i weld them up or use some type of patch putty hardener.
