Buying a New 4x4 Bump or Dent
I'm in the market for a 4x4 to push a snow blower. Blower has it's own 27 horse kohler engine and mounts up like a plow. I'm thinking short bed half ton, but then again, bigger is better. Bump or dent, auto tranny is best but low gear manual works too. I'm looking for a short bed so I can put the blower where i want easier but i can always cut the frame down if it makes sense to go to that trouble. I'd prefer a turn key work truck. I'm near Sacramento, CA/ Reno, NV.

I bought a shortbed 1979 f150 4x4. I'll take a post a picture after I fab up a mount for the blower.

Man that snow sounds nasty down there in California! I'm sure glad I am up here in Canada where it's warm!

You might be surprised by the amount of snow that falls in the Sierras.

I use the blower when the banks get too high to push anymore snow with a plow. It's a Hanson blower I found on craigslist. It is similar to this http://www.snowvac.com/snowvac_01.php.
