Ring and pinion break in ?

The ring and pinion that I put in require 500 mile break in,should I change the lube after break in?

I usually do when installing new gears, but I'm a bit anal......there is a smige of mfg residue coming off the new "previously run in parts".........Most people don't bother, It's your call...

I sure would. $20 worth of oil and an hour of work will go a long way with getting the most out of your new gears.
