Front axle swap questions?

Front axle swap questions?
What front axle do I need to be looking for to get disc brakes on my 72 4x4 F100? Does a 78-79 front Dana 44 bolt right up? Thanks in advance!

"76-"79 will fit .
make sure you get the diagonal track bar with the new axle.
"78-"79 have a better tie rod set up.
don't forget to get a disc brake master cylinder.
