72 crew cab cummins

here is the 72 cc i puchased. i know it has cancer but that is no problem i use to do body work so i am not afraid. my plans are to make it a 4x4 and it will have a cummins motor.

here are some pics of the rear it had a flat bed on it so i had to torch all the tabs off.

Thats awesome, I would love to find a crew cab at all, let alone one in good shape. Good luck with the build!

i got this one from kansas city mo. there are none around in ohio. The cool thing is i was rooting around in it when i got it and found all the org. paperwork it was a u p rail road truck still has the brass tag in the door.

Its always fun to know the back story on these trucks, wish I knew where my 72 spent the bulk of its life...

This week i got the 79 steering box rebuilt. It took a whole 45 min to take apart and put back together. I fabed a bacing plate out of 3/8 and put slugs behind it also you can see in the pics i had to notch the frame i tacked a plate up in the notch. Everything is tacked in i will finish weld it all when i tear the truck down.

trying to get alot done before the snow flies. i dont have a big enough shop for it so i have to work outside. ill post some more pics tonight or in the morn.

got some body work done. Figured i would do some while i was gathering parts for my rear dish conversion.
