This works great
Bought this at Home Depot and used it to clean up the 68's breather assembly. Worked great and did no harm to the metal. $16.

Yes it is. Has some kind of cusion behind wire that lets it strip aggressively but doesn't damage the surface. I couldn't believe how well it works. Saved me some time.

To do the top with a stripping wheel took a long darn time, and it did eat up the wheel. The next morning I went to buy another wheel to finish the bottom part. I came back with the Rapid Strip, and did the bottom part in under 20 min., (with no appairant wear to the Rapid Strip.) If that long. At least it seemed fast. 
(Darn, I sound like a TV pitch man) I am going to try it on the line of rust on my Bumps Bump. Will let ya know how it does.
