My first mission is changing the rear end gears. I have no idea what is in the pumpkin but my truck screams at 50 mph. My options are to buy a rear end/gears or accept a friends offer of a 2.75 rear end. Most of my driving is highway and I don't pull much, but would like the option to if the need arises. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Welcome aboard from Northern Ca.It should work for light towing. Tall gears for a bump, but it would cruise the hwy real good. What does it have under the hood?
