When the '68 arrives, the first task would be to have the engine looked over and started. Then, replace all the gear oil, repack the wheel bearings & check the drum brakes.
I'd like to get this rig in driving condition while restoring it to keep my interest. I hope to make it into a dependable driver with some performance modifications in the future like a diesel engine swap & 4-wheel disc brakes. I'll be looking forward in learning a whole heap from you all and posting the progress here with a picture of the rig towing the '66 on a trailer.

EDITS:
- Wheels where not 16.5" split rims. They are 16" steel rims w/tubeless tires. Less work for me!
