Online sites to get axle shafts

Post by 1970FordTK »

As the topic states, I have been looking to see who has 28 spline count direct fit replacement axle shafts for our trucks. I have had very little luck with it, is it just me not knowing how to find it or are there realy very few places that have them?

Did a few serches & came up with nothing. I tried all the big names, Strange, Richmond, Yukon with no luck. Anything I found that was 28 spline was for the early Broncos. I could have sworn Yukon had upgraded 28 spline sticks for our trucks under the "restoration" part of their page, but I can't find it to save my life.

Maybe averagef250 has a source? He's pretty keen on axles.

Find a local rear end shop and they will be able to get you what you need. They should be able to cross reference the stock part # to an aftermarket supplier such as Moser...

Thanks for the info Bobby, in the area I live what few shops there are...........tend to have circle track stuff or drag stuff on hand. Same reason every bone yard with in 2hours is stripped of them also, one of the down sides to living in North Carolina......just about every other person races for a hobby.
