Ok I do not have my old truck yet but how hard would it be to put a auto on a slant 6 and how much would you guess

a dodge automatic transmission for a slant 6 is probably the same bellhousing as the manual trnasmission so its probably no problem to make the conversion. but dodge parts are probably harder to find.

for our trucks. the swap is easy. jsut change otu the flywheel remove the pilot bushing get the correct length driveshaft and swap out the steering column or use a floor shift. you have to watch as to which length column you get. power steering vs manual steering. then yo ucan ignore the clutch pedal or get the automatic brake pedal setup. i have two or three of those.

well I am going to put it in the floor why because I just like it so take old out and but new trans in take out the fywheel and do you mean I have to get a new driveshaft or the just pilot bushing

the driveshaft will be a different length for manual trans vs automatic. the pilot bushing isnt used for a automatic and will need to be removed fromthe crankshaft so the torque converter will go into the crankshaft space.
