You're talent is incredible, you're Kids are adorable and the picture of your bride, with hands on hips, says it all. You're a lucky and blessed man.

That is actually my oldest daughter, still at living at home.
Seven of the kids, in the pictures, are mine that still live at home, four are grand kids from my oldest daughter and son in law.
I have a total of ten kids and nine grand kids.
My wife of 32 years is behind the camera. :love:

More updates.

It’s starting to look like a Bronco. Inside view.

The tape lines are to give me an idea of where the body lines will end up.

Bringing the bed back in for resizing.

A twin post lift has been very useful for this project.

After trying several methods of finding and marking center line of the wheel openings, I determined that using center of the bump stops gave me the most accurate center line, left and right, for both trucks.

Measured distance from #2 bed bolt to center line, and to #3 bed bolt.

Transferred information to the bed floor and marked center line side to side and up on to the wheel houses.

Drilled a 1/8” hole thru the wheel house for permanent mark and visible inside and out.

The pickup is not through working as a pickup.
It needs to get the Bronco’s motor / trans assembly off of the floor and hauled out of the shop.

This is awesome. And fomocoguy's idea of an excursion is cool too. Id love to see his idea with a 7.3 powerstroke!! This is a great looking ride. 2wd or 4wd will both look great. Keep us posted. Youre right that GOD has blessed you with a great family.

I think a Bump would make a great Excursion. Or “Centurion”. 8)
I have seen them done with the dent sides, but a Bump would be awesome!

I have been seriously considering building a six door Bump pickup. Short or long bed, not sure.
I haven’t looked too hard for donor trucks yet. Not enough $$ to fund all my big ideas.

My wife drives a 02’ 7.3 Excursion, I’ve been trying to talk her into letting me stretch it into a six door, ever since she bought it new, but she says I have to buy my own truck for that. She wouldn’t be able to live with the down time.

:help: Ok now, do I leave the 78’ inner bed panel in…. or cut it out and replace with 69’ inner panel? :help:

Pros to leaving the 78’ inner panel:
1) Less cutting, less work.
2) Inner trim panel will go back in without modification.
3) Less to deal with on the rear corner pillar.

Pros to swapping out for 69’ inner panel.
1) The wheel house would look the correct shape, although it will mostly be covered by the interior trim panel and the rest covered with carpet.
2) ??????

Very inspiring and impressive. I am anxiously waiting to see the final product. You could probably build these for sale as well. Depending on the final cost. :thup:
