My 68 Lunar Green Ranger
Just a few quick pics of my project I have been working on for the last year. Took the tired 360 to a fresh cammed 390 and just installed the rebuilt C6 on the weekend. (after these pics) I reupholstered the seat my self from scratch. Took the old one apart and matched the seems and patterns exactly. Minus the two emblems that were riveted to the backrests on the original cover. Everything is just comming together now and should only be a few weeks away from turning the key for the first time in a year!
I will try to update as this thing comes together

Hey There Ranger Pete. That is a sweet looking Ranger. Looks great. Are you serious about doing the seat upholstery from scratch? That is amazing. I love the pics and please keep them coming.

Re: My 68 Lunar Green Ranger
I agree. The seat looks fantastic! It's inspiring me to try it myself one day...and I WILL!
My truck was lunar green originally...well, until I made it 5 different colors with parts from the salvage yard and painted it black! If I can ever get my '56 done, I want to eventually make my '69 'nice'. I've thought about painting it lunar green again and I'd even keep the red wheels too! If I keep it black, I'll make it laser straight and keep the satin look it has now. Here's a pic of it when it was still mostly lunar green with its red wheels. I think the color combo looks surprisingly good!
