i polished up the old wheels, and threw them on today.then i took it out for its first drive as a short box. and actually the first time in over 2 years!
best feeling in the world!
i love the ride height on the back, but i definitely need to drop the front.

Very cool, love it as a short bed, and really like the old school wheels on it.

i finally have my own shop to tear the truck down in, so yesturday i drove the truck into the shop and started stripping. this is the progress so far!
since i recently had it all apart already, it came apart really easily this time, after two evenings, its completly stripped.
if any one is interested, heres a pic of the truck in the background, just bought it a couple months ago. 1997 f250 powerstroke
its been getting all my attention lately,10 inch lift and solid axle swap, and some other repairs.
but now that i got it drivable again i can put my full attention back on the bump!
hopefully i can make some steady progress, and keep updating you guys a lil more frequently!

The sas is a straight bolt in. I got the diff out of a 94 f350 single wheel.
All that you need, is the diff, track bar, tb bracket, tie rods, and driveshaft.
I made my own shackle reversal kit, and swapped in 2 inch superduty springs.
That takes a lil more work, but still not to bad. It's amazing how much smoother
it rides with the Shackle reversal and longer sd springs.

Cool thought it would be better than doing a bronco. Keep telling my brother to do the shackle flip but he won't hear it. Oh well his truck. Thanks for spilling the beans on it. Thanks!! I did a half hanger flip on the rear, and cut the front coils.

Bought my self a mag 251 welder last night for 150 bucks! Now My new garage has all the tools I need to get my truck done!! Should make some good progress now!!

havent been on the computer much lately. heres some update pics
i installed the new doors so i could line up the new cab corners.
Inner cab corner is rusted pretty bad
patch panel tacked in place after removing old inner skin.
sand blasted and coated with por 15
new outer skin tacked in place, had to section it to get every thing lined up!
i also have the roof seam on the back of the cab welded up.
