input shaft removal

input shaft removal
I want to clean the magnet and replace shifter o rings on my 3 speed toploader. How do i remove the front input shaft? Im sure its the snap rings, just want some tips before diving in.

YOu are best off getting a manual. I rebuilt my 4 speed and I am glad I got one. Once you pull theat input be ready for rollers to go everywhere.
