I pros...,
as i sold my 2 F last week end,i would like to replace them by a 4X4.
I wouldt like it before 1982 for an easier registration, simple to maintain ,as less as electronics, easy to be driven by every body from my daughter (15) to my father (81),mostly to work maintening landscaping around the house. Our garden is quite large.I am not Bill Gates so I d like not to pay too much and it can exhaust CO2 I don't care
Which 4X4 bring back to France ?

From the title, it sounds to me like you are going to import a truck to France, is that true? Seems like a lot of work, but, hey there are a few european trucks I'd like to import to the U.S. so more power to you.

My preference will always be an F250 Highboy from 1959 through 1977-1/2. Best chassis and drive train bar none. 1965 up highboys will have either 240/300 inline six (Great Engine) or 360 FE (Great Engine too) or a 335 series engine after 1976. Your Dad and Daughter may prefer power steering, if so, look for a 1973 to 1977-1/2 with that option.
1970, 2WD, F-250, C/S, Dual Tanks, 390 FE (of course), C6, Power Steering, Power Disc Brakes, Dana 60 3.73, Sky View Blue, Ranger XLT
1970, 2WD, F-250, C/S, A/C, Dual Tanks, 390 FE (again, of course), C6, Power Steering, Power Disc Brakes, Dana 60 3.73, Wimbledon White & Sky View Blue, Ranger (almost twin brothers!)
