Who makes the best lift kit?
I have a 71 F100 4x4 and I'm looking around at different suspension lift kits. Whats everyones thoughts on the best brand of lift? All input is appreciated!

Re: Who makes the best lift kit?
My truck has a 3" suspension lift by skyjacker (my best guess), I haven't had any problems with it, and it has been on the truck for the better part of 20 years or so...

Mine is a Superlift... The truck just sits in the shop now, so I have no actual experience yet.
All these lifts are is just coils, blocks, C-bushings, shocks, pitman arm and brake lines.

2 1/4" wide leafs on our trucks, 3" on Dents.IronCoffin73 wrote:...not sure of the difference between bump and dent rear suspension.
I am copying this from another post that I wrote:
According the the list covering 48-79, F-250 4x4s ran 2 1/4" rear springs from 59-77. However, ALL F-100/150s and F-250 4x2s switched to 3" in 72.
To switch to 3" leafs on our early trucks, we need a pair of these http://broncograveyard.com/bronco/i-232 ... -leaf.html Need to relocate and install a pair of these: http://broncograveyard.com/bronco/i-232 ... -rear.html Since the long end of the springs is 31 1/2" instead of 28" on F100s.
