soon to be owner of a 68 f100 short bed stepside
i posted a 'should I buy' question on the general discussion board, hope you guys can steer me in the right direction. from what I have read, it seems the truck I am looking at is quite rare. makes me wonder how hard it will be to find parts. also, I will be putting it into service for my plumbing business, hope it can perform. I am selling a 2007 double cab tundra just because I want a truck with that 'nostalgic' look to it. hope to have some pics next week if I decide to buy.

fron SoCal.I read your post in General Discussion, saw the ad for the Bump, and have to add that you'll be much better off starting with an option loaded F250, Camper Special, 390 with C6 Automatic Trans as a starting point. Cheaper, will Haul More and with factory Disc Brakes up front, it'll STOP! It'll SCREAM "Old School Craftsman" on board.
