Bumpstops??
Hey guys, I haven't looked very hard yet. I am looking for some bumpstops (axle bumpers?) for the front of my highboy. I looked at Mac's and LMC. LMC has them but the part # is the same front and rear . I don't think that is right. What have you all used? Thanks
Doug

Re: Bumpstops??
Upon further inspection they (Dennis Carpenter) are not right. Does anyone know they ford part number for these? Maybe I can get them from Ford or a NOS dealer. Thanks

Re: Bumpstops??
You would have to check on application because it doesn't say 4wd or 2wd.

Re: Bumpstops??
Checked the 78 and they are different. I saw a pair of 64-7? mustang bumpstops and they look pretty close.

Re: Bumpstops??
Good morning Doug!
This thread includes some photos of the Dennis Carpenter 2WD I-beam bump-stop parts I installed on #50. I'm sorry I failed to record their part numbers in the thread, although I'm guessing that your 4WD bumpers might be a completely different design regardless.
How are D.C. I-beam bumpers attached to the frame?

Re: Bumpstops??
You're welcome Doug! If it would be particularly helpful, I'd be happy to dig out the part number for you.

Re: Bumpstops??
No need to dig out the part #. Thanks though. I assumed the same thing that you did, that they should have a stud coming out. Thanks for the help.

Re: Bumpstops??
the only thing i can add. is on my 71 F100 4wd rear bumpers they are the same bumpers that are on my 93 F150 rear bumpers. i have no idea what your front F250 bumpers look like.
