Troy's 69 F100 Project
Alright, I decided to start a project thread (mainly for advice and or ideas). I have a 1969 F100 with a 360 c6 trans. Doing a Frame off restore. Turning every nut and bolt.
My plans for this truck are:
360 Crate Motor
20 inch 5 Spoke Chrome Rims
40/20/40 Leather split bench seat
F600 Cluster Gauge or custom build mine with diamond plate
Roll pan
Paint her Sunburst orange with black ford letters on the tail gate
Tilt Steering Column
Disc Brakes
Custom Exhaust

As far as the oil cap goes, if you have a PCV valve in the other valve cover then you are going to need an oil breather instead of an oil cap.
Looking forward to progress pics

I-spy what looks like a GS1000 in the back of that truck...(maybe a CB1000, hard to say for sure with that pic)
I can make a harness for that too
If by "burnt orange" you are referring to the Cordova color, cheers. My `69 is two-tone, Cordova and Wimbledon White.

LOL it is a 1980 Cb900 (trying to get rid of it) not quite, here is the color i am going for. maybe a tad darker. I want to do it a two tone Black gloss or maybe a flat black.390Nut wrote:I-spy what looks like a GS1000 in the back of that truck...(maybe a CB1000, hard to say for sure with that pic)

installed 94 F150 Seats. Looks and feels a lot better! I was wanting to get the rustolem fabric paint but, a little skeptical about it. I am gonna hold off until i hear some reviews about it on here.

Took all the black paint off the grill. Took me awhile. I used sos green and brillo pads, carb & choke cleaner as well as lacquer. I am in the computer rook and really didn't feel like getting up so here is a window shot of her.
