Hey all! New girl here...but not really ;-)

Post by OldBlue67 »

Hey everybody! I figured I'd reintroduce myself since I've been gone SO FLIPPIN LONG. My name's Liz, I have a 67 f-250 camper special that goes by Old Blue (like so many of them do ;) ). Unfortunately for Blue he's not running at the moment :( which is partially why I'm back. I used to be a real regular around here back when the forum was new (I think I'm still banned from FTE LOL). When the Fordification facebook group got updated and started letting me know people were posting it reminded me I kinda missed hanging around here so here I am :D :fr: :fr: :fr:

Heres a pic of Blue back when he was all one color (he's now sporting primer spots of various colors. It's like hes going grey lol)

Well he was running rough and then wasn't turning over. I went to change out the spark plugs since it had been a while and found fluid in the cylinders :-( I'd lost my mechanic touch over the years (it's easy to get lazy when you can get guys to do it for you LOL) and so wasn't really sure what to do next. I've got a mechanic lined up to come out and give him a real good looking at & repair (in trade for a photo session! yay!) but I haven't heard from him in a bit :-/ I'm starting to want to tear into him myself since I need a ride & I can't have Blue just sitting there dead :-(

PS I just realized you all don't know I'm a photographer. Thats what the photo session thing was about LOL
