got a couple quotes on getting the billet hood emblems made... pretty crazy, first one was $1240 for the pair then the last one was about $560 (I probably will get a set made for mine to just say I have the only ones )

I just ordered some machined aluminum fixture jigs here at my work from a shop in Korea and the quote was $700 which was 1/4 the cost of what our own shop can do it for here in-house. The qty and material was more than two hood emblems. The fixtures came in nickel plated too. Lead time was 1.5 weeks including shipping time. Not bad.

Got the axles moved in front dana44 out of a 68 f250 4x4 for now to roll it around getting either a dana 60 or 70 front later. Rear Sterling 10.25 (with sway bar, VSS sensor) out of a 94 F250 4x4. Will run electric speedo and cruise using the VSS and the EFI 460 computer needs it. Also doing a disk brake conversion on the rear sterling with a e-brake off the NP205 (no cables to the rear )

thats not my np205 but from the site that sells the e-brake mine will look better mine will have billet alluminum Front Output Shaft Bearing Retainer, Rear Output Shaft Bearing Retainer, Input Shaft Bearing Retainer, Rear Gear Cover / Bearing Retainer and PTO cover. Then use the POR15 engine enamel

one side 2wd stuff removed, 5 more rivets for the other side then onto getting the leafs on...

yes not to complicated especially since its an F350 2wd frame which is almost like the 4x4 250, had even pre-drilled holes for the leaf crossmember to bolt right in but havent decided if I should pull the 2wd engine crossmember yet. Have seen some power steering conversion where they cut the 4x4 crossmember up to fit the gear box so might just stay with the 2wd crossmember. Want an 8" lift so have to see how the differential fits with the 2wd crossmember first. Also can see in the above pic I have a 68 F250 4x4 crossmember where the radius arm one use to go (looks like top holes match up but no bottom holes so have to drill)

Gotta' love those rivets! A pain in the butt when I did my radius arm bushings last year.5 more rivets for the other side then onto getting the leafs on...
You grinding or torching them out?

Just use a couple drill bits then chisel off the head and punch them out.

All the 2wd stuff is off on to getting the leafs mounted. Looks like Im cutting out the 2wd crossmember also, have a 68 F250 4x4 one to put in since it looks like the 2wd crossmember is in the way of where the gear box will go and possible motor mounts. Have to get the engine and all that bolted in to order a axle since they will set it up for the proper pinion angle.....so then cant do the gear box till the new axle is in to find that location ....

Cut the side of the 68' F250 4x4 I had laying around and mounted it to the 72 F350 2wd. All 3, 3/4" tooling holes match up perfectly on both frames and the 3 bolt trans crossmember. Is interesting though the body mount doesnt line up (will put on the other side and see how it looks) want the template to get the leaf hangers perfect and the locations for the 4x4 motor mounts located. Will also cut out the 4x4 box section with reinforcements and weld into the 2wd. Also the F350 has 1" taller frame rail just after the leaf hanger.
