Ah, a bow thruster, or would that be stern thruster?
Pretty cool, wonder why it didn't catch on?

where can i get mine. That would neat to have at a car show and park it with that..it'll be tripping some people out, and for some of the old timers may say
"aawww I had one on my car" dam wife was driving and thought she was pulling the heater vent on and the dam car did a 360 in the middle of the street.I had to sell it the next day!! wife would never drive after that!

Re: an old invention
what really hit me was how did he use driveshaft power to turn the wheel? was it a belt or chain that engauged that was hooked to the car driveshaft and went to a secondary shaft to turn the wheel to move the car?

Re: an old invention
that or you would have a hole in the floor of the trunk. or a hinged door that could rust shut.BRUTUS_T_HOG wrote:never caught on cause it murdered trunk space i'd imagine. or cause most men can drive just fine anyway
