HI TO ALL FROM ELECTRIC CITY WA
My name is Dave and I'm an old guy (just turned 61). I bought a 70 F-100 1/2 ton Sport custom with a 360 and C6 trans. I found it on Craigslist for $500. It looked pretty stright in the picture all it said was that it ran and that was it. So I drove the 50 miles through a snow storm and bought it. After I bought it the lady told me that her husband had told her to let me know that the 52,000 on the odometer was the orginal milage and that they were mostly farm miles. The drive home through the snow storm was scary, first thing I discovered was the front brakes were grabing (turned out to be a wheel cly.) the brake light switch was sticking so I only had brake lights once in a while, only one headlight was working (it was dark by the time we started back), and the heater and defroster didn't work . Its got a lot of little things to work out and this looks like a great place for me to be! Looking foward to having fun with all of you.

Heck, I'm happy being 61. Here in a few months the Social Security will be coming in.
May even actually retire in a few years.

What's the trick for up loading pic's? I get nothing when I click on Img.
Re: HI TO ALL FROM ELECTRIC CITY WA
The IMG code is similar to the URL code. They both make reference to something that already exists on the Internet. If you have a picture somewhere that is already public, just copy and paste the address. While this new link is highlighted, click on the IMG button.carpet man wrote:What's the trick for up loading pic's? I get nothing when I click on Img.
The other way to publish a picture in a post is this:
Scroll down a little bit to where it says, "Upload Attachments" and click on that. This will allow you to upload a picture from your computer into the current post.
As an example of the difference between a URL and a IMG: Both my two examples use the same address, the first uses the URL code and the second uses the IMG code. Both will be valid until O'Reilly Auto Parts changes their picture.
Code: Select all

Oh my! The code function works in this forum. Sweet :)

Welcome from Montana. Sounds like a great find! With a few minor repairs you'll have a great truck that will last a long time!
