You will need an adaptor. $175 depending where you get it. You will need to make sure that the T-5 will handle the power and have the correct length of input shaft.
Read what I did on my 300 and apply it to your FE.

Re: T5 swap
My 352 has the same wide bell housing that the T5 appears to have.
Is the depth the same?
I guess I will try to cal them tuesday

Re: T5 swap
I would worry about chewing the guts out of a T5 with a big block. Ford only put them in behind small blocks and smaller...
Just my $0.02 worth.

When in doubt, hit the gas. It may not be the right answer, but at least it ends the suspense!!

Re: T5 swap
DO, you are correct. You need to be sure of the torque that you are putting through it.
A WC T-5 can handle 300ft-lb and I have seen them do more 350-375, but they don't last long doing that.
If you are keeping your 352 stock it should be fine, but if you do a few upgrades then you might want to look at an M5R2. They are a truck trans and may be a better choice for a BB.

Re: T5 swap
The 352 is stock except for a few bolt-ons for mpgs.
I thought it may be a good stop gap deal for fuel economy.
My other thought is a C6, and 2.70 gears. I don't tow much or really ever, and the auto would take care of that when I rarely do.
