Proud Papa 69 Ranger

Post by moonhanger007 »

Greetings from Idaho, I have to thank you men already for the copious amounts of information I have gleaned from this site. Three weeks ago I purchased a 69 F100 ranger , the man I bought it from was the second owner. He informed me the original owner was a school teacher from Wyoming, who was quite meticulous. Upon closer inspection I found him to be correct, the owners manual was in the glove compartment along with detailed service records. The truck has been loved, however it has also been used. It has 140375 miles minimal rust (mostly the tailgate), all of the chrome seems to be intact, and very few modifications.
Thank you for for all the great info, hope to learn more as this project unfolds.

Make sure you soak those exhaust manifold bolts with PB Blaster or equivalent before trying to replace that cracked manifold

Thank's for noticing, i'm trying to decide on either headers or simply replacing the exaust manifolds. Any ideas would be greatly apreciated.

Not a bad looking Ranger, I've always liked the 69's grill too.
