Re: Bought hub socket
When I buy something like this, and show it to my "almost wife", and I'm just so exited to have a new toy that I won't ever use more than twice in my life, she hardly even turns her head and says, "so". Followed by, "And how much did you spend on that?!"
But if I try to compare it to her sewing machine, the one that cost her $3,000.00 (yes, three thousand dollars), somehow that's different. And when I try to bring up her back-up machine, the old one that cost $2,000, she gets mad. I can't even mention the other one, the one she never uses anymore. "But that's the first sewing machine I ever bought."
She really is a good quilter and uses her "tools", a lot. But somehow, it's just different. My tools aren't important.

I could say something about wrenching on big nuts, but I won't. We are talking about big sockets, right?
