Been using this site for some time but just recently relized there was a form section. So this is my 68 SWB that i have owned for 15 years, used to be a daily driver upto about five years ago when the motor started to blow oil out every hole on it. So then it became something i would drive to cruise nights if my mustang was down. About six months ago I decided it was time to do something with it, so I begain the transformation. I had a 90 5.0 motor that I had bought for a spare for the mustang. What started as a stock rebuild became more, it is now a 306 with a FMS F cam, gear drive and 1.6 roller rockers, forged pistons and ported heads. I rebuilt a T5 to go behind it with King Cobra clutch. I then got the cutting torch out and cut all of the I-beam suspension out and replaced it with 2003 CV cross member. I have a disc brake 8.8 fr the rear with 4 link and airbags but the truck got put on hold for a couple of months, the wife said I could finally build my big shop 30x60, so I have been working on that latley.
