leaky kickdown linkage?

Some how I caused a leak on my c6 where the kickdown linkage connects. I removed the nut installed linkage on the shaft reassembled and now it leaks-alot. Removed the linkage put the nut back on and it still leaks. I suppose there is an o ring in there somewhere? How do you replace it?

The o ring prolly fell out when you took the nut off. There should be an o ring inside, just pull the kickdown lever off and install the o ring. You'll have to hang onto the threaded part with a pair of pliers to avoid pushing the rod in.
