What were limited slip in?

Post by sargentrs »

I'm sure it's in here somewhere but I've been searching and can't find it. What year/models' came with limited slip rear ends as standard/options that will fit the Ford 9" rear end? Like to put one in but can't really afford aftermarket. Direct bolt in replacements.

They came in lots of things, and they were more common in the late 60's and early 70's.

I would check Lincolns they were big money so they got the options.

I would also check the F100 Rangers, and any upgraded truck for such a rear as it would already have a gear you'd want so less assembly.
