If you look closely you can see where my papa accidently shot the side of the truck on the chrome trim right above the gas cap. In memory of him I'm putting that piece of trim in the interior, lining up the bullet hole where the push button for the glovebox is and making the button out of the brass used in that gun :) And not only that, Im going to to a custom pinstripe design about my papa!
That's an awesome plan. It put a big grin on my face.

Welcome to the site. The technical articles on here are great, and the folks on this forum are top notch. I'll be interested to watch how your truck progresses.

Big welcome from Lousiana. As you can see, us ford truck folks are spread far and wide, so you should have no trouble finding helpful info and tips for everything you might need. Theres even quit a few of us more towards the custom side of things, as well as factory restored. Good luck!! And dont forget to post pics along the way!!

Actually, I was planning on going with a 390. But when i do i want to do it high performance so that'll take a lot of money that I dont have at the time. For right now I'm going to buy me a parts truck for about $600 and use those parts to rebuild my 360. And later on when I have a job the first thing I'm going to invest in is building my 390 :) Thank you so much for the help though! :) I'll definately keep pics up!
