Hello to everyone, just joined the group,Im getting ready to start restoration on my 1970 ford f-100 custom fleetside,I have had the truck since I was 14 and Im 35 now,it was my grandpas before that, I fixed it up when I was a teenager and drove it back and forth to school my junior and senior year,my dad drove it for a few years after that but its been setting ever since probably 12 or 15 years,it has a virtually perfect body,I think Im gonna turn it into a ratrod,Ive always wanted to restore it to perfect but I have finally realized that thats never gonna happen so ratrod it is but I still think it'll be cool,it's gonna have a 429 with a c-6 automatic,it's currently 302 3-speed,but was originally 360 auto,my dad swapped the smallblock in when he drove it,I'm also planning on putting discs up front and power steering on it,well anyway's I am glad to be a part of the group and appreciate any help thats given to me,thanks to all,I'll post some pics sometime when I get a chance.
