going to look at a nice 68 from california, im in PA so its pretty rust free.

anyone know what the rear is in these trucks its 2wd is it a D60? what about gear ratios??

will gladly upload pics when i bring her home

Welcome back. 68 Ranger, CS is what I have. 390, 2V, C-6. You will like it. Errrr, your truck that is. :thup: Your grill looks kinda like on my 73.

im thinking its a ranger CS it has the woodgrain gauges 2 gas fillers, and looks like it had the ranger badges on the bedsides

well consider her mine, i will be paying for it on friday, test drove it runs and drives real nice.

now for the blasphemy parts lol it has a turbo 400 trans and a 472ci cadillac motor in it plus the gm hubcaps.

please dont flame me i didnt do it lol, originally had a 300

incase you want to see a caddy big block in a bump lol

im in no rush to change anything not like i have a FE or inline laying around with a spare trans

:wel: from Phelan, SoCal. It may have Government Motors stuff on/in it but as long as your heart is pure and you long for an FE or 300 I6, that's all that matters. Looks like it has a '71 Grill in it too. After 40 plus years, it's what you can expect. You've got a Great Foundation to start with! Welcome Back!
