3 speed shifter

Post by randyvines »

I have toyed with the idea of converting to a floor shift since i bought my bump, I now have what i hope to be all the parts necessary to refurb my column shift. This along with the new HEI distributor set up should put me on the road pretty good. Now only carpet, paint, gauges, and about 500 other items and it will be ready. :hd:

I converted to a floor shift and wound up back with the column shift. If it's working right you can't beat it. The floor shifter kept getting in the way. Just my :2cents: I, too, have been accumulating parts for a rebuild next year. Can you really ever have enough?

Naaaaaaa! It'll look GREAT sitting at the Sonic! Better put power steering on it though or he'll get embarrassed trying to back out and pull off. :D

Maybe someday. Until then he will have all the power steering he can muster between the shoulders, besides with column shift and no P/S not too many will try to drive it. :D

Yeah, I have fun with that myself. If for no other reason, some people respect me just 'cause I can drive my truck and they're intimidated by it.
