Do you mind giving me a few more details on you rear hanger flip? any up close pics would help also. I'm just getting started on my CV swap and have not completely decided on what i will do one the back to lower it. Nice work on your truck so far. Keep it up.

Re: Natalies 67- Bump
Ddunaway, I got the info for the hangar flip from this site. It's pretty straightforward, just labor intensive drilling and grinding the old buck rivets out. I'll post a close up pic tomorrow. The rear suspension is just temporary as a 4 link is in the future.
Did put some new shoes on the old girl though,
http://i165.photobucket.com/albums/u63/ ... ump001.jpg
And started a mini tub
http://i165.photobucket.com/albums/u63/ ... ump002.jpg
Between the CV swap and the rear hangar flip, with the new wheels, I like the stance now, not too low not too high. Wheels arent my first choice but got s great deal on them
She's happy too!

Re: Natalies 67- Bump
Thanks Josh. If your referring to the engine cradle it also had me scratching my head for a couple of nites as to how to mount the engine. I do think though that if and when we go to a big block I'm going to tie the cradle to the frame for additional support, but with the small block it seems to be fine as is. More than anything else I ended up with that mount system because I had a lot of scrap steel to play with If you were closer I'd be more than happy to give you a hand
And I'm telling you that the truck handles like a slot car now with the CV swap, at least compared to the old twin beam

Re: Natalies 67- Bump
The fronts are OEM 17 in. Bullits and the rears are American Muscle Bullits 18 X 10. I believe the rear backspacing is 7 inches. I can take one off and get an exact measurement if you need it.

Re: Natalies 67- Bump
Hey all, hope everyones well and your trucks are good.
Winter sucks, hard to get motivated but started the repairs which appear are going to be major to the cab roof. Did a few changes to the 331, went to a mechanical fuel pump. Much better than the noisy electric.
Going to look for a shrinker/stretcher as well as a pnuematic flanger, probably going to have to bite the bullit, swallow my pride and buy the chinese crap from H F
Will post some updated pics later today.

Dave,
The weather here in Texas is actually very nice. I have a large shop with a 68 in need of some work, I just started pulling it apart. You are more than welcome to come down and help while the weather sucks up there.
haha Truck looks amazing.
good luck with the cold
