C4 to a 360?
Does anyone know if you can hook up a c4 to a 360? I have two 69 f100 trucks and I am trying to make one good truck out the the two. The 360 is a more solid engine than the 302 but I could use either one. What are your thoughts on the subject? Thanks

You have to buy a special bellhousing to use a C4 behind an FE engine. Despite rumours to the contrary, Ford never made a C4 to fit an FE so you will never find the part in a junkyard (unless there are dead race cars there!). C4's are very popular trans in race cars with FE engines as they can easily be built to handle the power. Many 427 drag cars run a C4. Hawkrod
