Fixed yoke vs. slip yoke

Post by farmer13 »

I ordered a rebuild c4 trans and they delivered a slip yoke instead of a fixed yoke. New one will be shipped soon. Anyway, i'm still not clear about what the applications are.Are fixed yoke only on 2 piece drive shafts and only on long beds and slip yoke only one piece on short beds?

thanks for any help
