They are probably pretty weak lights actually? Cheap bulbs. Pretty soon i am going to be painting my truck with flames with my friend who owns a paint shop i hope. So i might actually buy those. Clear turn signals are out of the freaken question tho.. Looks good though, i will want those, i mean im a high schooler gotta have the bling

Hella offers a hid design headlamp that might be more promising.

re: Anyone tried the DIAMOND CUT HEADLIGHTS /W HID H4 BLUBS
I have a set sitting on the shelf. There are bulbs ranging from $10 to $75 even hid available. I will probably go with piaa bulbs they have several with diffrent watts. I work with a guy that put some on his nova and they made a remarkable difference with stock h4 bulbs from his nissan. It is a lot brighter. I am waiting pondering getting a aftermarket harness so I get 12volts at the bulbs.

You can also get the H4 conversions from LMC I think. Those looked like kind of a rip off. $9.00 buy it now and $27.00 shipping/handling charge. Actual shipping would be like $5-$6.
Great ideas have always encounter violent opposition from mediocre minds.

I did the Hella-vision headlamps from LMC and used 80/100watt clear blue bulbs off ebay ($5). I also put in relays for the headlamps to run direct off the battery and wired the dims to stay on when the brites are activated. They are awsome, lots of light and very brite. Allot of people ask me about them.
Faithful Old Road Dog uses them also.

heep70 has the right idea. If you are looking for brighter lights for older cars/trucks the first thing to do is throw a relay in so that the headlight run straight off the battery rather than running the juice all the way to the switch and then to the headlight through 30-year old wiring harness.

Just to clarify...
HID (high intensity discharge) is not a bulb....it is a complete lighting system that typically costs over $1000.
I installed some H4's in my heep along with replaced the headlight & dimmer switch, cleaned and lubed the grounds for the lights and it made one hell of a difference.

re: Anyone tried the DIAMOND CUT HEADLIGHTS /W HID H4 BLUBS
I thought about the HID lamps... then looked again at the price... then went to NAPA and got what they call "brite lights" bulbs. They throw 80% more light where you NEED it... and I love them! I don't have the "cool" look of the blue lights, but I'm not broke from buying them either, and they do what I wanted. I'd rather have light that I can use, than worry about looking that cool... I also run them in my '75 Kenworth, and they made a huge difference there as well!!
The relay is a great idea, and one that I think makes a big difference all on its' own.

I had success with the Silverstar bulbs. I didn't even have any relays, and they were very nice. I burned both them up the first day though?

Blue Lights are BAD
Go with some Hella or CIBIE H4 conversions if you want great light with great beam patterns and cutoffs.
