had no idea you were gonna show there or i woulda shown up for some more support...didnt you win truck of the year? would have won my vote..i thought that looked like your truck hiding down there in the weeds. you should have had them cut the grass lower so we could see the other half of your truck

I was just there to look but the guy at the gate convinced me to show the truck.....I didn't know I could register on the spot! I guess you can cause in I went. They told me that I could have won something but I had to leave early cause of a leaking water pump
I left the show while it was still cool in the day and I made it home just fine.

thats too bad about the water pump, and thats funny that they just convinced you to come in. woulda been a sweet picture to have a trophy amidst all the trucks there.marz68 wrote:I was just there to look but the guy at the gate convinced me to show the truck.....I didn't know I could register on the spot! That Black & Silver bump has had some serious metal work. Hood is pancaked, tailgate welded up, all seams filled, not only have they extended the cab the top looks like it has been chopped 3". Looks pretty rad. Not sure i'd have the Opera Windows. They may have used the rear cab part of a mid -later 70's extended cab.
