68 F250 front D60?

Want to put a D60 in the front of my 72 F350 using the 68 F250 brackets... Now I want to put a 6" lift over high boy height so will I have a problem with that front for the pinion angle. Can I just get a high angle front drive shaft and be ok? Will I beable to do cross over on this also? So thinking a front D60 out of a 78-79? thoughts??? Runnin a 94' F250 sterling 10.25 so thats wider than the stock so wondering how close that 78-79 width is to the 94 sterling?

76+ all SRW front axles are same width. 78-79 will work fine. You are mated t-case? With the mated case I suspect you'll need a CV front driveline.

yep mated T-case but will try to go with the long adapter vrs the short one so what 3" difference. Just being tuff finding that trans with the 18 1/2" out put shaft length for the long adapter.

also looks like I will have to buy a whole truck just for the front axle , maybe get lucky and it will have the C6 with the NP205 long adapter... Im thinking what 78 F250

I have a spare 78 HP60. I'll be in the East Bay late July, probably spend a day around Sacramento, might be able to haul it down with me if you were interested.
