In your first post you asked for help Identifying the axle you have. I thought if you posted a picture some of us might be able to give you better feedback. If you post pictures of the parts you are having difficulty with we might be able to help with those also.

F'busted browser. three more pics. I mislabled the ford knuckle.. it's the left.

Here are pics of the known 44. Note the diff housing is on the opposite side, the spindle housing is WAAAY heavier, knuckle is totally different.

They are both Dana 44s however there are a couple of differences:
The dodge is the higher GVW 44, it is closed knuckle and a passenger side pumpkin.

Just curious have you looked for the axle ID tag, or the BOM on the Ford axle?

I agree with you speedbump. Both dana 44 but different GVW's.

Hah! beautiful. I can order my part. I've looked for tags.. those little steel tags die quick on four wheel drives up here. needless to say, no... I don't find a tag.

as to bom.... why for you cuss at me in Polish?

BOM=bill of materials label, its on the axle tube

As far as the tag if someone wasnt lazy then the tag will still be there, it is generally attached via the two diff cover bolts next to the passenger axle tube. When I get home i'll take a picture of one on a front 44 for you.

No tag.. and the BOM code is 603128, which doesn't come up, not even via 'parts expert'.

hmm. figured google would give me cruft with a number like that. I always have awful luck with google and part numbers. But, that settles it. tomorrow I'll be ordering an X lock.
