Year ID from V.I.N. ?

Post by 2099966234 »

Hi all,

New here.

Looking at a F600 but nobody knows what year it is.
Vin -- F61CRB34845
Does the "B" indicate the year?

Thanks

B would be the first part of the serial number. i would guess that it is a 67 if they ran the serial numbers like our trucks do. http://www.fordification.com/tech/VIN67.htm

Yes, according to the Master Parts Catalog, all '67 trucks (excluding the E-100) had VIN's between A00,001 and B82,000...so your truck is a '67.
