Good evening Dan!

The work you've done on your truck is truly amazing. Based what I see in the photos, you make it look SO easy! Of course I suppose what we don't see are the million hours of work that go in between each photo session and thread update.

Still, it looks like you're experienced with restorations, to say the least. How did you get this experience?

Thanks Dan!

I agree completely! As far as Bumpside body modifications go, I think that one's unusually stylish. Well done!

Thanks for all the compliments guys. Always hated the look of the rear running light anyway, couldn't find a more modern led light that would fit properly so that is the idea I came up with.
Here is a shot from the other side (of course still got some final touches to make!!

I can say first hand that the cover for the side marker light looks good and should give it a one of a kind look. Are you going to stick with the lightning wheels? I am going to keep a eye on Dan's project and if you want to show off the paint when you get it done just let me know when to come and see it again.

I don't plan on using the Lightning wheels, not forever at least. Once it comes back from the paint shop I might put them on so that it looks pretty sitting in the corner (while I save some cash), but I would like to eventually get some torque thrust 2s or some coys or something in a 5 spoke pattern.
I will give you a shout when it is getting close to completion. Hopefully it is worth the trip :D

I will do that. I grew up in Calgary so I am really enjoying watching the Oilers lose again tonight.

I finally completed the work on my frame. Completely disassembled it, got it sandblasted, then primed it and painted it. Just need to add a few more things like brake lines, fuel line, sway bar, front shocks, and it will be ready for the body to go on. Here are a few pics:

Suspension and fuel tank installed, rolling chassis again. Tires turned for that car show pose.

Stayed tuned, more to come :D

Thanks Brandon,
Although it is probably obvious from the other pics I also swapped out the fuel cell I had for a Mustang tank. It holds 2 extra gallons and to me it looks more like it belongs there.

Good evening DanTheMan71!

I admire you for being bold enough to paint the chassis that bright color! It looks truly extreme in an excellent way--it's a work of art. You'll have to take about a thousand quality photos of it before taking it out on its first drive on a bumpy gravel road!

Question on the new replacement wheel wells. Are the formed one piece? reason I ask is I have a older set that are made from two pieces, the top and the sides being a seperate piece. Where did you get yours??
