Here is the building I am going to use to work on my bump, Although I will have to still work on the bump outside still. Here is the beginnings of my shop.

I have another shed for the lawnmowers!!! That riding lawn mower I just have to put back together and sell that will probably be my project pretty soon to complete that. That isn't a complete A/C unit but I am working on it!!!

, Looks like a great little shop to me, should work just fine, and you can pull your bump up right in front of it and get tools so getting tools isn't an inconvenience. That little parts corner is pretty sweet too. My dad and I have been working on a smaller shop for my bump, we're shooting for it to be water tight in a week or so maybe sooner if it warms up , that way I can move all of my tools in there, then the bump will stay dry and I can get some more work done now and just plow through things in the summer when it warms up .

Good morning Ford4x4Fun!

That looks excellent! The concrete will be very nice and keep the truck pretty clean compared to the dirt--I worked on mine in the dirt and mud for many years before having a concrete floor. It's a TRUE luxury to be able to DROP a bolt or nut without it getting disgustingly contaminated. You can actually use the concrete slab to set stuff on while you're working, unlike the dirt.

And the storage building looks clean and modern! I like your big black toolbox in there. I'll bet that helps a lot to keep things organized. Some day I'll graduate to one of those, when I feel more confident that I'll be living in one place for long enough to offset the trouble of moving it from house to house.

Ford4x4Fun, where were you working on your truck before? What are the key benefits you're enjoying with the new shop area?

Hey Robroy,

I was in the dirt just like you! I actually did a body swap in January 08 with no garage just the mud me and the elements. So this is a big upgrade for me. I am going to put a work bench on the wall with the jacks, with a vice and a grinder on it. Add a couple lights, and I will be hopping and popping.

Hope you get an area to work on yours in the dry soon too! I don't have my truck down here yet, I was suppose to go get it this weekend but that got shot down because of work stuff. But I can't wait to start working in a dry building on a lot of stuff!!
