Very cool. I am searching for a crew cab cab for an idea i've got. I would like to put an crew cab and long bed on my '68 F750 with F100 fenders and grille.

Sure do like that red! :D She looks to be in pretty good shape, but how can you really go wrong for $400. I say go for the Cummins conversion right off.... no sense in having to do things twice!

Yeah I think she is just going to get a 460, Sorry reds not my color. My 73 dent still isn't done with the cummins ended up pulling it back out to run a different trans. The allison 545 is a piece of crap, I wanted to run an allison 1000 but I got an NV for FREE so I'm going to run the NV4500 instead. Anyway back to the bump crew my buddy already hooked me up with a 460 and I'd have to source up another 12valve and there hard to find around here for a good price.

I have decided to put the cummins in this truck and make this my tow rig.

Image
Here's the NV4500 I found in a scrap yard, got for free. It's from a 98 chevy, converting it to a 2wd diesel trans.
Already got a cummins bellhousing and clutch slave/master cylinder setup.

Image
Picked up a rear sump pan from a dodge for the cummins.

Image
4" lift for a 99-04 superduty, putting these on the 72

Image
Put a 78 dana 44 HP under it for temporary until I find a 60

Image
The front 4" lift springs are on

Image
The rear 4" lift springs are on.Used spring hangers off a 99 superduty from a local junkyard

Image

Image

Image
Picked up a kingpin 60 for it from a 78 F250 camper special

Thanks, Right now I'm waiting for the Dana 80 rear axle to get it back on 4 wheels.
So I can wheel it into the garage and start fabricating the motor mounts and front crossmember.
