Are there any differences between the engine perches for a 400 vs. a 390 in a '77 F-250 4x4?
Thanks,
Corbin

4x4 engine perch differences?
Honestly, I really would rather push a Ford than drive a Chevy.

Re: 4x4 engine perch differences?
there weren't 360/390 perches in a 77 f250 4x4. 76 was the last year of the FE. The frame rail hole locations changed from 76-77 for the new 351m/400 and the frame stands are about an inch shorter for the new engines.
If you find a pair of 67-76 FE/300 six frame stands you can put them on the frame in the right spot and about 3 of the 6 holes will bolt up. You will have to drill the other 3 holes on each side.
