Here are the pictures of it with the hood on with 67 emblems, grill buttoned down and my hallogen headlights. I also pretty much finished the interior, just a few little things to do, I'll get pix of that later.

It's hard to tell from the pics, but is the paint a metalic paint. Your truck looks amazing, CONGRATS!!!!

yes, it is a metalic, the darkness of the blue hides it a little. the reflections from the sun kinda make it hard to tell in pictures. I'm working on the bed now, got the underside pressure washed, now I gotta por-15 it then work on a few rust spots.

madbiker - One last question that I should have put in the last post.

Is it BC/CC or Single Stage?

Thanks (sorry for all the questions)

it is single stage, you can get it in bc/cc, I just didn't want to go that way because it is so much more expensive, and I will be using this truck often, so it's gonna get dinged eventualy. You can get this color mixed just about anyplace that mixes paint in several different enamels. It is actualy a chevrolet ( ) color, used on cars and trucks around 2004.

Well, I finally got the bed painted. I had a little ordeal when I dropped the speedometer gear into the tail housing, so that took a little time to get done. I also got the from flashers mounted, new rear bumper, u-joints, and a few other little things. The paint didn't come out perfect, it looks a little thin in a few spots when in direct sun light, but it's not bad. my biggest problem was that the shop isn't lit very well, so it made it hard to see if I was getting even coverage. but I'm happy for being my first paint job. all I have left is the tailgate to paint, witch hopefully I can complete tomorrow, then it will be rhinoliner, tags, insurance, inspection, and front end alignment.

Your truck is real clean looking, for your first paint job that's great  . Did you turn your cargo light into a stop light? If you did that's a cool thing to add, also those black rims finish off the look perfect. Congratulations on such a great job..
